Eastern Shores or nothing at all. One of the most highly desirable locations in all
Abaco, this small select neighbourhood has all the charm of an outer cay with all the advantages of being on the mainland. The main attractions are the dual exposures on the Sea of Abaco with stunning views in every direction and the availability of
dockage on either, or both, sides. Most of the properties are Sea of Abaco to Sea of Abaco with guaranteed shelter, no matter which way the breeze is blowing.
Many of the original “beach houses” that were built thirty years ago
still exist. There are also many properties that have been completely redeveloped with beautifully designed and imposing homes. The peninsula is renown for its beautiful lush vegetation and scenic vistas. The active Homeowners’ Association works tirelessly for the betterment of the
Eastern Shores residents.
Homeowners from every walk of life, and from around the world, have found their niche on
Eastern Shores. There is a private residents’ beach and another, more shallow, beach called the “Children’s Beach” This a very family friendly
neighbourhood, often with two or three generations in residence. The restaurant and boutique area of
Marsh Harbour is only an easy stroll, or bike ride, away. Contrary to popular belief, there has never been an
Eastern Shores home to sell for more than $1m, although some of the newer homes would certainly attain that and more.
